Together We Can Make a Difference!

Bringing diverse Christians together to acknowledge our differences
while working to transform our communities.

We Are
Community
Protectors

Community Protectors Project is a group of rural and Southern people who want our communities to better reflect the Christian principles we were raised on. We may attend church, or we may have strayed from it, but we do our best to follow Jesus’s teachings of honoring the Lord and loving our neighbors. Through education, collaboration, and our shared values, we are moving away from unwelcoming and harmful narratives within Christianity and instead working towards an inclusive, faithful practice in which everyone is deserving of God’s love and community.

Our Mission

Community Protectors Project (CPP) is a faith-based community organizing project that challenges divisive narratives around faith, race, and class through education and collaboration. Via weekly virtual gatherings we are bringing together Christians from across our community to discuss our shared challenges, build stronger relationships, and practice neighborly love.

Community
Bible Study

We hosted a community Bible study that brought together over 150 community members to read scripture, connect across lines of division, and find our common values. Over four months, our program brought healing and trust to the town of Gadsden, Alabama. Join us to do the same in your community.
