What is the Community Protectors Project?

"Via weekly virtual gatherings, we are bringing together Christians from across our community to discuss our shared challenges, build stronger relationships, and practice neighborly love."

Community Protectors Project (CPP) is a group of rural and Southern people who want our communities to better reflect the Christian principles we were raised on. We may attend church, or we may have strayed from it, but we do our best to follow Jesus’s teachings of honoring the Lord and loving our neighbors. Through education, collaboration, and our shared values, we are changing divisive narratives that have hurt our people and excluded too many from God’s love and mercy. Instead, we at CPP believe that everyone, regardless of gender, race, or class, is part of God’s family and that we are called to protect our siblings in Christ.
